Dr Neil Slade studied homeopathy at the College of Homeopathy, London, and graduated with distinction. He has a PhD in infectious diseases from the Imperial College of Science, Technology and Medicine, University of London. He is also a Chartered Biologist, and a member of the Society of Homeopaths and the Institute of Biology, and is registered with the British Complementary Medicine Association.
Neil treats all areas of health, from the concerns of the very young to the very old, although emphasising that prevention is better than cure. However, he has particular interests in men's health, and the use of complementary medicine in the support of people living with HIV/Aids, and infertility.
Neil has two busy homeopathy clinics, one based in the centre of Mayfair and the other in Southfields, SW London.
As well as a clinical practice, Neil regularly lectures in homeopathy, anatomy, physiology, and pathology at several colleges of complementary medicine. He has produced a series of videos based on his biomedical science lectures at the College of Naturopathic Medicine, available soon. In 2001 he was awarded the CNM certificate for 'Best Lecturer' in biomedical sciences. In December 2003 Neil was awarded the CNM certificate for 'Best CNM Lecturer' at the college, as voted for by the students.
Neil's many articles can be found in a variety of magazines and health journals. He is the resident homeopathy contributor in Positive Health magazine, writing a regular case study column. Neil also wrote his own 'Doc Spot' for the Mirror's M magazine, and can often be found on television and radio discussing homeopathic and naturopathic medicine.
